Up until recently, with my two city lifestyle, I thought I had pretty good luck when it came to weather. It seemed like I would usually escape in the nick of time from one city's dire weather conditions to the other's much more humane existence. Well. Not this time. I've been in Beijing for a week and it's been nothing but smog, fog, and rain. It's been so gray that I would do just about anything to see a just little bit of sun. Thanks, global warming.
Alas, if I can't see any sunlight, I can at least remind myself of what it felt like. Therefore, I'm updating my blog here with a picture I took at the end of last year while in Cambodia - where sunshine was not a rare occurrence and the days felt lighter and brighter.
