For the past week and a half, I've been busy moving flats in Shanghai. Between packing, unpacking, repacking, unpacking again, and shuffling furnitures between a few different locations, it's been hectic. There was also an episode where two huge wood cabinets were dangling from my 23rd floor balcony - but this is not the place to go into those details. After all that, I finally settled in. And then promptly got sick. Anyway, that leads us up to this current moment in time.
The picture above is one I dug up during one of the packing and unpacking episodes. My Father bought this some time ago and since then, it's been living in a drawer of one of the cabinets that was lowered down 23 stories by a few pieces of rope (clarification: for public safety and common sense reasons, there was nothing in the cabinets while the flying act was going on). I like the weird triangle symmetry and balance to this photo, and I think now is as good a time as any for this photo to greet internet-land.
